Synthetik: Arena available on Steam for free

Synthetik: Legion Rising is a sci-fi roguelike shooter game with an unusual focus on semi-realistic weapon handling developed by the 2-man development team (Eric Alex. Krutten and Alexander Luck) called Flow Fire Games based in Berlin, Germany. Two days ago, the company has announced fully free-to-play a standalone expansion pack called Synthetik: Arena.  If you never heard about this, let's check it out this trailer.

As one of the creators said, the game is built on new mechanics while the players still have freedom for experimentation and their own playstyle. 

With Synthetik: Arena we wanted to bring new depth and mechanics to the genre while leaving a lot of freedom for experimentation and different playstyles. It is inspired by the late 90’s Era of games when people put in all the Features they enjoyed without streamlining to the bare minimum.

In new Synthetik: Arena players face off against five unforgiving challenges developed by the machine god Zur in an effort to stifle the protagonists' progress in the original SYNTHETIK storyline.
