Devolver Digital is on fire. Again. The publisher announced the release of their biggest title on August 29th. An hour later SCUM has appeared on Steam for Early Access. In less than 24 hours, over 250k copies of the online survival game were sold. This extraordinary mark became a good reason to show some joy on Twitter. Quote:
The SCUM community has been incredible and we’re thankful for the over 250k copies sold in less than 24 hours!
Rest assured, the team is working on updates to give you a best in a class survival game.
SCUM is a classic example of the online survival game with a deep customization of the character and progress system. But the key message of the game is obviously a survival: how to search for resources, equipment, escape from zombies and giant combat robots.
There are 2500 reviews on Steam and more than 50 000 users are playing SCUM at the moment. The biggest problem with the title right now is the lack of FPS limitation which is harmful for PC. Anyway, it's quite easy to fix and will be the first task for the developers to complete in the near future.
