Subnautica: Below Zero, the independent DLC to the modern submarine "survivor" Subnautica, will be released in early access to Steam, Epic Store and Discord Store on January 30th. At the same time, you won’t be able to look at the game in action in advance: the project will be shown during an exclusive stream on YouTube and Twitch January 30.
Also, the game creator noted that the work on the DLC is not finished yet. Below Zero will gradually improve, and thanks to the experience gained after extended early access to Subnautica, the developers have already fixed a massive number of bugs and flaws.
The Below Zero action will unfold some time after the events of the original Subnautica. Below Zero, as the original version, will offer to explore the underwater depths of the planet 4546B. However, this time we will have to go under the thickness of the ice in a completely different part of the world, where we will also have to survive, simultaneously exploring new locations.
Subnautica: Below Zero will cost $20, according to the official site. But the authors warn fans that the version published in early access will be very raw and suitable primarily for people planning to participate in the development of the project actively.
