Capcom has announced a second beta for its upcoming Street Fighter V Tournament Mode. The event will take place from January 25-26.
Registration opens on January 14, but once more, it's only available to players in North America. Not much else is known about the event right now, but it will likely share a similar structure to the first beta. There's also no mention of the rewards for participating, however, that should be announced soon. For the first beta, players received 10 free Fortune Tickets to use in Fighting Chance and a special "eSports Player" title.
One major point of concern is the recent fan-made netcode mod that PC players have been using to play the game. Since it causes issues for PlayStation 4 players, its use could be prohibited. Otherwise, the developer might have a lot of unhappy players on its hands.
No launch date has been confirmed for Tournament Mode but it is speculated that the new mode will arrive together with Street Fighter V: Champion Edition on February 14, 2020.
