2019 will be the year of the fighting game. The launch of the acclaimed Mortal Kombat 11 and the long-awaited Dead or Alive 6 is expected. The news that Capcom announced the next season of the battle for the champion title also applies here.
Kanamori “Gachikun” Tsunehiro knocked out the title of a current champion last year. Dozens of the best esportsmen will compete to take away this title from him this year. Last year's victory gives Kanamori an automatic qualification to participate in the new season. The first fightings of the Pro Tour will be held March 15-17.
