Delay in compliance with government guidelines regarding the coronavirus

On March 15, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued some guidelines for individuals and organizations with plans to host events soon. Of particular note was its recommendation to not run any events with 50 or more people within the next eight weeks.

In accordance, Capcom has announced the rescheduling of Street Fighter League Season 3 until August 2020. In its release the company stated;

"We are deeply disappointed by this turn of events, but we strongly believe it is the right decision to help protect our players, production crew, and staff. We'd like to thank our players and community for the positive responses we've received thus far for Street Fighter League Season 3, and we hope you can all join us when production resumes in August."

Many more tournaments in the US are expected to be canceled or postponed till May regarding the coronavirus' spread across the US and the CDC's advice on how to curb it.

Street Fighter League is a 3v3 team battle tournament series featuring Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. Six teams of pro players assemble to compete over several weeks to determine who will be crowned the league champion.
