A YouTuber named Daniel L. is such a huge World of Warcraft fan that he decided to recreate Stormwind City in Unreal Engine 4, and it looks gorgeous.
Making use of medieval assets available on the platform and others he created himself in other tools like Blender, Daniel was able to create a version of the city that is the most impressive it's probably ever been. He has also recreated other WoW zones in the past, like Durotar, Duskwood and Grizzly Hills. You can check out the videos for those on his YouTube channel as well.
You can take a look at the famous headquarters of The Alliance rendered in Unreal Engine 4, below.
Fans may never get to experience Stormwind City with this level of detail since Blizzard doesn't have any plans to make a sequel and WoW Classic's upscaled resolutions do not come close. You can check out Daniel's Stormwind gallery of 4k images here.
