According to rumours across the scene (and Reddit of course), big shuffles in the North American scene is coming. The report says that Brazilian team Made in Brazil are looking forward to a fully Brazilian lineup again and are ready to trade Jake "Stewie2K" Yip to rival Liquid in return for Epitacio "TACO" de Melo and coach Wilton "zews" Prado.
It means two things. First, Tarik "tarik" Celik who came on board later this year (are one of the most flexible players on NA scene now) will be benched and his future is uncertain. Second, Made in Brazil players will finally have a proper coach since the zews departed from the squad two years ago.
These changes are surprising, but if you look on MiBR performance this year - after they kicked TACO and boltz and brought two American players on board - you probably understand why they want to be fully Brazilian lineup again. Last two years they were unbeatable, FalleN and co. destroyed everyone no matter if they played online or on the biggest stages, they just dominated the whole scene.
Now, TACO and zews will reunite with three of their former Luminosity and SK teammates, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, and Marcelo "coldzera" David, after a seven-month spell with a Team Liquid.
We still don’t know who will be the fifth player of the squad, but the MiBR and Team Liquid lineup now look as follows:
Made in Brazil:
- Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
- Marcelo "coldzera" David
- Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
- Epitacio "TACO" de Melo
- Wilton "zews" Prado (coach)
- Tarik "tarik" Celik (transfer listed)
Liquid:
- Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
- Nick "nitr0" Cannella
- Keith "NAF" Markovic
- Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
- Jake "Stewie2K" Yip
