Steam Lunar New Year Sale has started

Steam has opened the Lunar New Year Sale with an unusual twist. Each player who makes a purchase in the store gets “tokens” with a limited lifespan that can be traded for special goodies like chat emoticons and profile backgrounds.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Valve is also giving a one-time $5 discount to everyone who makes a $30 purchase through one cart.

The sale gutted the prices of many favorite titles, here are some of them:

• The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition (-70%)
• Assassin's Creed Odyssey (-50%)
• Dark Souls 3 (-75%)
• The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition (-50%)
• Rust (-50%)
• Buy Grand Theft Auto V (-50%)
• Rocket League (-40%)
• Total War: WARHAMMER II (-50%)

The Lunar New Year Sale will be active from between the February 4 and February 11.
