Steam is extremely huge in terms of games' amount it has to offer. But how many titles are there exactly? Judging by the recent stats from SteamSpy, the total amount of games has reached and well exceeded 30,000 titles by now. The record was quietly set a week or two ago, as Valve is not famous for real-time tracking and announcing the number of titles available on Steam.

Once again, you can now browse Steam for more than 30,000 games - 9,300 of which released in 2018 only according to SteamSpy. The previous year was not only the biggest in the history of Steam - but it is also likely to stay the biggest one. This is mainly due to the fact that there's a new contender entering the market in the form of Epic Games Store which has already secured a few PC titles to be distributed exclusively. In other words, PC versions of several games including The Division 2 as the most recent example will miss a Steam release instead launching in Epic Games Store.

Still, 30,000+ games is a huge milestone for Steam which was the pioneer of digital PC gaming stores. It is also worth noting that this amount does not include DLCs, videos or any other software products rather than games. Whether or not Steam manages to beat its own record in 2019, remains to be seen.
