StarSeries XIV day one photos

Here are the photographs from the first day of play of the the SL i-League StarSeries XIV Finals at the Minsk Arena in Belarus.

The tournament kicked off with

Na'Vi and

CyberZen, with the CIS team taking the match 2-0 in fairly easy fashion. The second game of the group, which pitted

G2 and

Luminosity, was expected to be more contested. The Brazilians, however, took the match 2-0 allowing

G2 to take a total of only 16 rounds.

Na'Vi and

Luminosity went on to play the winner's match.

Luminosity was able to come out on top with particularly solid performances by Marcelo "coldzera" David and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and take the spot in the semifinals. The losers match pitting

CyberZen and

G2 went to the European team, but barely, as the Chinese team took

G2 to the limit in three maps.
