Starladder has announced that the offline finals of its SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 will take place in China, in September.
After visiting Minsk for the first edition of SL i-League StarSeries, Starladder will be taking its esports events to new countries, with a Dota 2 competition to be held in the United States and Hearthstone and CS:GO tournaments to take place in China.
The move is part of an expansion plan that began in October, when Starladder agreed to host its StarSeries league together with ImbaTV, one of China's biggest game content producers.
The StarSeries S2 finals will take place from September 6 to 11 in an as-yet unknown Chinese city. This league will run separately from the $100,000 SL I-League Invitational, which was announced at the start of the week.
More details about the second iteration of SL i-League StarSeries, such as prize money and slot allocation per region, will be released by Starladder in the coming months.
