The Korean Starcraft II player "ByuN" Hyun Woo, formerly known as "GhostKing" goes to the army. He posted the news that he made such a decision, back in December last year on his Twitter.
He became the first man in the world to win the Global StarCraft II League without the support of the team in 2016. He received the nickname The One Man Army after that. According to ByuN, the support of his idol, Lee "INnoVation" Shin Hyung helped him win the tournament. He saw a banner in the hall during the final match.
The stream marathons for ByuN is a common thing. He streamed Ladder and training matches with his rivals during the preparation for GSL 2016 for 12 hours.
ByuN perfectly deals with the unit’s control. It is so true that with only one unit he could do an incredible amount. Blizzard had to nerf him twice so that the advantage from perfect control was not so huge.
The fans of the ByuN’s superb game supported him after posting news on Reddit.
We sincerely hope that the former champion will not lose much of his form during his military service. There is only one free day left before ByuN goes to repay South Korea his civic duty. The length of service in his home country varies depending on the type of forces: from 21 to 24 months. And in any case, we wish him GL.
