Stanley Martin Lieber, aka Stan Lee, the famous co-creator of Marvel Comics passed away in the age of 95. TMZ reports that he was rushed in an ambulance to a hospital from his house at Hollywood Hills. The reason for his death isn’t disclosed.
He was born on December 28 in 1922, his father was a Romanian immigrant and a dress-cutter. At the age of 17 Lee took a job of a gofer (errand boy) in Timely Comics, one of Marvel predecessors. 2 years later he wrote his first story using the pen name “Stan Lee”.
Stan Lee took part in the creation of the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man and many other famous supernatural charters throughout the last 60 years.
Stan wasn’t a modest person. For example, back in 2002 he published his autobiography called “Excelsior! The Amazing Life of Stan Lee”. Apparently, you can’t create a multiverse with hundreds of millions of fans without getting a certain image of yourself.
Stan Lee is widely known for his cameos, performed across different movies and animated films.
Rest in Peace Stan Lee. You will be remembered as a genius by many generations of nerds.
