Spider-Man will soon get a DLC and New Game Plus mode

Creative Director of Insomniac gave an interview about the content that’s coming to the game.

Spider-Man was a surprise hit of this year and many fans have been enjoying it since September. Unfortunately, once you finished the main campaign, there’s not much more to do and players feel that it’s way too early to say good-bye to Peter Parker’s character.

A new DLC called The Heist is coming to the game next week and New Game Plus mode is also right around the corner. Bryan Intihar, Creative Director at Insomniac, gave an interview to Game Informer and talked about the scope of upcoming content packs. To Bryan’s opinion, players should be very satisfied with new things coming their way, as there’re going to be new missions (more than four) and additional activities.

The Heist DLC will revolve around Black Cat. This character has a considerable footnote in the original game, but she never shows up in person. The new content pack makes up for it, so expect a lot of interactions with Felicia Hardy’s character.

The other DLCs will follow in November (Turf Wars) and in December (Silver Lining). In his interview, Bryan Intihar builds up an impression that Insomniac is still developing the additional content packs, so it’s hard to predict what it will look like.

Spider-Man was released on September 7 as an exclusive for PlayStation 4.
