Spider-Man has outsold every other superhero video game in US ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Rocksteady undisputedly delivered some of the best superhero video games in history with its Batman Arkham series, yet Marvel's Spider-Man sets the new record in the genre - at least in sales performance - according to the NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella.

Mat shared the updated information on Twitter stating that Marvel' Spider-Man has managed to become the fastest selling superhero video game in the US just within the three months after its initial release. It, of course, means that Insomniac's latest has surpassed Batman: Arkham Knight which is a great achievement on its own since the developers once stated that they were targeting the level of quality set by Rocksteady's games.

And now Spider-Man not only shines in obviously high quality - but also in quantity. The exact figure wasn't provided but we are likely to get the fresh details on Spider-Man's sales from Sony in the nearest future. The only information ever provided was shared upon the game's launch. If you recall, Spider-Man sold more than 3,3 million copies worldwide in the first three days becoming the fastest selling Marvel game of all time.

There's also a nice gift from Insomniac for all the Tobey Maguire fans - and his depiction of Peter Parker in Sam Raimi's films. Yep, that's right - you are getting your hands on the iconic Tobey's suit with shining webs all over it. And the best part - it's absolutely free for the owners of Marvel's Spider-Man.

Right after it was added, fans of the Ultimate Spider-Man films with Andrew Garfield as the titular character have expressed their desire to see Andrew's suit as well, but received a strong confirmation that it's never being added from Insomniac's Community Manager James Stevenson.

To be honest, Garfield's films are not half as good as Maguire's classic, so it's clearly understandable why Insomniac has no plans for the suit.
