UK Tekken commentator and streamer Hassan "Spag" Farooq recently posted an interesting little video featuring his 4-year-old niece Eliza, Leroy Smith, and an Emperor rank player. In the video, she unwittingly demonstrates some latent skill and the overwhelming advantage the Wing Chun master still possesses.
Eliza's win is such a big deal because Tekken 7's online ranked system is split into roughly ten tiers, with Emperor situated in the second-highest tier alongside Tekken King, Tekken God, and True Tekken God. That's to say; a young amateur took a round off one of the best players in the game.

Everyone has off days, and this could have been her opponent's, but it still doesn't change the facts. That Leroy helped a child defeat a veteran Tekken player, even if it was only just a single round.
Fans have claimed since Leroy's release last year that his Kung-fu is OP. Thankfully, Bandai Namco also agrees with this opinion and has been hard at work trying to balance the character. The recent Tekken 7 version 3.20 patch arrived last week, and though Leroy changes made up the most of it, they were far from enough. Tekken producer, Michael Murray has since announced that another patch will arrive soon with even more changes that should balance the playing field.
Tekken 7 patch 3.21 will arrive sometime in the middle of February, featuring battle adjustments for Leroy and other members of the roster.
