Space Overlords announced, coming to Steam in February 2016

Publisher Excalibur Games has announced that indie developer 12 Hit Combo's giant robot game Space Overlords will be hitting Steam on 24th February, 2016.

"After escaping imprisonment, begin a destructive rampage of galactic proportions to restore your honour and bring vengeance to those that betrayed you." read the press release that was sent to GameWatcher. That revenge involves gigantic mechs stomping like Japanese monsters on cities on small planets, as players can "smash, shoot and stomp (their) way through entire cities and planetary defences."

The game features a PVP Multiplayer mode, both online and offline, for up to four players, each with their own unique playable character, with four multiplayer game modes. In the single player campaign, they will face off against six enemy types, each with stronger variations to face, over the course of 56 story mode levels. The game will also include a Planet Editor for gamers to create their own planets for friends to stomp.
