Bandai Namco had some big news to share about the new competitive season for Soulcalibur VI at EVO Japan 2020. Series producer Motohiro Okubo announced the tournament lineup for Soulcalibur World Tour 2020.
EVO Japan represents the first event in the 2020 circuit. The next tournament in line is Final Round 2020, which takes place on March 20. Events follow every month from March to June, with May featuring two instead of one. The date and venue for the final event of the season will be announced at a later date.
Here’s the full tournament schedule for Soulcalibur World Tour 2020:
- EVO Japan: January 24–26
- Final Round 2020: March 20–22
- The Mixup: April 18–19
- Combo Breaker: May 22–24
- BAM12: May 29–31
- CEO 2020: June 26–28
- VS Fighting: August 21–23
- Rev Major: TBD
- Finals: TBD
Soulcalibur World Tour 2020 events belong to one of the following categories, Edge Master+ (EVO Japan 2020), Edge Master (Majors), and Critical Edge (small tournaments). Each Edge Master event will receive a $5,000 bonus to their prize pools, while Critical Edge winners will receive an additional $1,000 bonus.
