Sony has acquired Spider-Man Developer Insomniac Games ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Sony has announced via its Twitter account that it has now acquired Insomniac Games, the studio behind games like Spider-Man, Ratchet & Clank and Sunset Overdrive

The developer has had a long history of working with PlayStation but until now was still able to release games on other platforms and did. However, all that changes now. It might be the end of Oculus exclusive VR games like The Unspoken and the upcoming Stormlands or they could also make the move along with the developer.

PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios are known for making really great games that are exclusive to Sony's platforms, so Insomniac Games will feel right at home.
