SonicFox shares Mortal Kombat 11 tier list ahead of Aftermath

As fans prepare for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 expansion, Aftermath, fighting game pro Dominique "SonicFox" McLean takes one last look at the current state of the game's roster.

SonicFox's tier list is ranked from S+ to A-, with about 3/4th of the roster considered among the S-range of tiers. Liu Kang reigns at the top, followed by Joker, Cetrion, Jacqui Briggs, Johnny Cage, Geras, and Cassie Cage. The pro considers the Batman villain to be a set up and offense focused version of Cetrion.

Erron Black, Jax Briggs, Frost, Terminator T-800, and Shang Tsung are just some of the characters in S. Meanwhile, Raiden, Sonya Blade, Spawn, and Kitana all fall into S-. On the bottom side of things, we see Jade lumped in with Sindel and Baraka in A+, while everyone's favorite ninjas, Scorpion and Sub-Zero spar in A. Sitting right at the bottom is Shao Kahn, the Emperor of low-tier.

SonicFox's list is pretty consistent with most player's tier lists, showing a good distribution of the game's DLC roster scattered across the top half. Aftermath will arrive with character adjustments that will hopefully shake up the roster, shuffling characters around tier lists everywhere.
