Solo, No[o]ne, Zayac Leave VP to Form a Team ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Virtus.pro have just announced that Aleksey "Solo" Berezin, Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko, and Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov left the club on a free transfer.

They formed a new Dota 2 stack called Just Error. Initially, the possible existence of such a roster became known from a leak of correspondence between the former VP manager Roman Dvoryankin and Bai "rOtk" Fan. Together with the ex-VP trio, the team will include former members of the Evil Geniuses' roster Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev and Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan.

Dota 2 Just Error Roster:

  1. Vladimir "No[o]ne-" Minenko
  2. Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnaryov
  3. Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan
  4. Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov
  5. Alexey "Solo" Berezin

Meanwhile at Virtus.pro

So, a New Era it is. Virtus.pro's second roster VP.Prodigy, or as it was originally stated, a "youth team", has had a slight change and initially became the main squad of the organization. Danil "gpk" Skutin and Ilyas "Ilias" Ganeev joined the team to replace Rostislav "fn" Lozovoi and Albert "eine" Garayev.

The team looks very dangerous. This is a young roster, the basis of which already has played in several finals (and after all, Prodigy fought Team Secret in several tournaments, and although they lost, there were very few teams which could have battled the giant that much), supplemented by one of the best mid-laners in Europe and an excellent player in the fifth position. In addition, Ilyas and Danil are close friends, they even live together, so there is no need to improve chemistry, and the three main players have been together for a long time.

We can watch them play in the upcoming EEE's tournament — and they definitely are ones to follow, as well as a strong title contender.

The only thing not so great here is that the team is too young though experienced: their average age is only 18,8 years old (!!!) with Vitaly "DM" Melnik being the oldest of them (he's 20). This might harm them at least, or they will follow the recent Team Liquid's TI9 path, where a very young and talented team got too nervous because of their junior age.

Just Error's Stack Seems Powerful

In the CIS, people immediately put Solo's new stack among the tier-1 teams. Yes, after all, in fact, we have the old + new VP guards in combination with the incredible SumaiL. Look amazing on paper, and again, the team has experience and chemistry, and every position has a star player. Judging by the way the guys play in pubs and scrims, we will see No[o]ne in offlane, SumaiL in mid, and Ramzes will return to the good old position one. The great thing about this roster is that, with the exception of the supports, the three carries can switch roles without any problems. Some kind of recent OG, isn't it?

The team includes players of tier-1 level with victories at the largest tournaments in the world. How long can they play together and fail if the game doesn't work right away?

There are three questions for the new line-up, compiled by our journalist Evgeny Kondratyev.

1. Are the players ready?

Surely, they've been training together for some time, and they have chemistry. But Yellow Submarine is currently showing decent Dota, so there's a serious challenge for Just Error.

2. Is the roster completed?

There are certain doubts as to whether Zayac is a 100% fifth member. As we remember, Roman Dvoryankin did not mention Bakyt in his chat with rOtk. Does this mean that Bakyt is only a temporary companion until the end of this year when a new transfer window opens?

3. Who coaches Just Error?

Every serious team needs a coach: some need psychological support, some need analytical support, but the number of duties falling on the captain makes one find assistants. There's no chance that rOtk is working with the team, so the question of who exactly will coach the team remains.

Epic Stuff

Both teams, Virtus.pro and Just Error, got a chance to prove themselves at the Epic League, albeit on slightly different terms. Virtus.pro were announced immediately, getting into the main part of the tournament, while with Just Error, nothing was precise until the very last minutes. Nobody officially announced it, but rumors spread quickly within the region: people started talking about the new Solo's team to participate at the tournament a week ago, but the organizer, for some unclear reason, stayed silent. What was known is that there was a place right in the Finals staked out for a certain Invited Team, which alarmed the community. All during the heat of the Closed Qualifiers, which were in full swing. The community didn't like that.

In general, not a great thing, to be honest. I've always been very scrupulous about the sports part of tournaments, and this is a bad precedent.

And so, when the announcement finally took place, the press release assured that all the participants were aware of this move, and the place was taken for EG from the very beginning.

What's Next?

Anyway, there are a lot of reasons to watch the upcoming Epic League. We've already mentioned the two huge reasons above: Virtus.pro's new roster and Just Error will take part and show what they got. Oh, it would be a magnificent stroke of destiny if these folks meet each other in the Main Stage of the event.

Ten teams will battle for $500,000 prize money at Epic League this autumn. The tournament's Group Stage starts tomorrow, November 12th, and end on December 5th. The Playoffs will take place from December 8th until  December 13th.
