Sogetsu joins Samurai Shodown roster on April 1

Water wielding ninja Sogetsu Kazama will make his Samurai Shodown debut on April 1, 2020. His arrival will leave only two more characters left in Season Pass 2.

Sogetsu’s addition to the game’s roster was first revealed in a leak back in October 2019. He makes the second character of Season Pass 2, with Mina Majikina as the first. The remaining two characters scheduled to arrive this season are Iroha and an as-yet-unannounced fighter.

The announcement arrived with a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming character, where he shows off some of his water-based attacks and slashes. You can see him in action in the video below.

Samurai Shodown will launch on PC via Epic Game Store this Spring. It is currently available on Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Stadia.
