SNK eSports Support Program expanded ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and any other SNK fighting game fan can rest easy as the developer will be improving its support of community events. Whether new or old, SNK opens the doors to tournament organizers willing to host events for any of their fighting games.

Any tournaments that meet SNK’s requirements are eligible for official support in the form of advertising, promotional assets, and prizes. They’ve even included a fankit to help create great posters and an event calendar to provide fans with the dates for all events featuring SNK titles around the world.

Just like last year, the SNK eSports Support Program was extended once more from its July deadline, by one year. Tournament organizers have until July 31, 2021, to apply for the program. It appears all forms of prizes are also off the table, as SNK has reserved these benefits for offline events. Large gatherings are still banned in many countries across the globe, meaning many tournaments won’t be able to take advantage of that offering right now.

If you’re a tournament organizer or promoter, you can sign up for the program here on the SNK eSports Support Program’s portal.
