One of the most iconic snipers in the USA has announced his break from the competitive scene. The 25-year old Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham started his professional career in Curse and iBUYPOWER where the management of Cloud9 saw his potential and recruit him in April 2015 for their CS:GO division.
Tyler played a key role at ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals and most of all at ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018 where North American squad won the first Major in CS:GO history. After that, Skadoodle struggled with his motivation and announced a break in March this year, only to return two weeks later, after Jake “Stewie2k” Yip had been transferred to SK Gaming.
He was named the 20th best player in the world in 2015 but struggled to reach the same heights in the following years.
“I am taking a break from competitive CS:GO," the player wrote. "I would like to thank the fans and Cloud9 for their support these past years and I wish the CS:GO team the best of luck.”
Skadoodle will wait when his teammates will find a new addition who can replace him, but after that, It seems to be the end for the American beast. Cloud9 made goodbye video as a thank you for last 3 years. GL & HF Ska, we will miss you!
