SicK to replace ben1337 on Chaos for FLASHPOINT 1

Hunter "SicK" Mims is rumored to be replacing Ben "ben1337" Smith on Chaos EC for FLASHPOINT 1, according to a report from Dust2.us.

This roster move for Chaos EC was also hinted at during the FLASHPOINT 1 group selection process by Owen "smooya" Butterfield when he mentioned that they had "someone better" joining the team. 

With the addition of SicK, Chaos EC is rumored to be:

• Joshua "steel" Nissan
• Cameron "cam" Kern
• Hunter "SicK" Mims (Stand-in)
• Matthew "mCe" Elmore (Coach)
• Ben "ben1337" Smith (Benched)

Chaos EC has one of the more robust groups ahead of them for FLASHPOINT 1 with Gen.G, MIBR, and Envy. They will have some relief in an otherwise tough group due to Envy playing with their coach, Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić, as a stand-in for Kaleb "moose" Jayne while he awaits his visa.

FLASHPOINT 1 is set to begin today, March 13, 2020, and will run until April 19, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. Despite multiple esports events and conferences being canceled, delayed, or moved to an online format, FLASHPOINT 1 will be played on LAN. The opener for FLASHPOINT 1 begins at 12:00 PM CT with MAD Lions versus HAVU.
