Former CS:GO pro and now video game streamer, Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek decided over the weekend to try his hand at Overwatch. After a couple of games, he achieved the Platinum rank

Coming from playing games like Battalion 1944 and Apex Legends on Twitch, the human aimbot played a few ranked placement matches to receive an overall Skill Rating of 2,589. This puts him just within the Platinum rank which ranges from 2500-2999 SR and stands above three other ranks. Not bad at all for his first time.

Shroud picked high damage dealing heroes like Soldier 76 and McCree who seemed to fit his play style. Natural talent aside, he could end up doing really well in Overwatch if he keeps playing the game, but he apparently didn't enjoy it all that much. However, that's not to say he won't ever play the game again. If he does continue playing, it will be interesting to see just how high up the ranked ladder he can go.
