The Shanghai Dragons, one of the teams competing in Blizzard’s Overwatch League, have just announced the signing of new members for their main roster. Following an underwhelming season one, the organisation needs to step things up in 2019. The Dragons finished the inaugural edition of OWL with a 0-40 score, failing to win even a single match.

The team picked up their new head coach We ‘BlueHaS’ Seong-hwan, formerly of Kongdoo Panthera, back in September. It comes as no surprise that four of the new player signings are transfers from the very same team. Yang ‘DDing’ Jin-hyeok, Son ‘CoMa’ Kyung-woo, Yang ‘Luffy’ Seong-hyeon, and Jin ‘YOUNGJIN’ Young-jin spent nearly a year as teammates in the Korean Overwatch Contenders team, now joining their former coach in the Overwatch League. The remaining two pickups are Bae ‘diem’ Min-seong, formerly of Lucky Future Zenith, and Cho ‘GuardiaN’ Joon-hwan, whose contract with Toronto Esports expired in July.

The organisation prepared a video to celebrate the signing:
