Off-tank Lee “Envy” Kang-Jae leaves Toronto Defiant for his third team in the Overwatch League, Shanghai Dragons.
The team is yet to specify how this signing affects its present Off-tank player, Kim “Geguri” Se-yeon, but it's possible he could become his substitute.
Envy arrives in the third stage of Overwatch League season two, in anticipation of the grand finals. Other teams like Florida Mayhem have begun similar acquisitions, making for an interesting mix after this stage.
Envy originally played for Los Angeles Valiant until April 2018, when he moved to the Overwatch Contenders Korea team, Meta Bellum. After a brief period there, he returned to Overwatch League, playing for Toronto Defiant in October 2018. Come this time 2020, who knows which team he will be playing for next.
