In a recent blog post, Cygames revealed a new feature that will be added to the game in its upcoming June 26 update. Temporary gems are a new resource being introduced for a limited time which players can gain from playing matches.

These gems can then be exchanged for temporary cards which are similar to regular cards in every way, except that they cannot be liquefied or animated with seer's globes. You can differentiate them from regular cards by looking for an orange number above the card to the top right. Cygames are yet to state how long temporary cards and gems will be available for.

The June 26 update will also begin the Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World Tie-in. This will bring leaders, emblems, flairs and sleeves themed after the dark-fantasy anime's characters to the game for a limited time. Leaders can be purchased separately or in a leader pack, which will contain the leader's respective emblem, sleeves and flairs.

As if all this wasn't enough, players will be gifted with free card packs and sleeves for logging into the game for 10 days between June 26 - July 25.

In a separate promotion, Cygames will reward players that login between June 23 - July 31 with seven challenge tickets. Considering all these freebies, it's a very good time to be a Shadowverse fan.
