Seoul Dynasty has just announced the signing of three new players and a coach for the upcoming season of Blizzard’s Overwatch League. The team had found itself with just six active members on their roster, following the departures of five of its pros in early September.
The newest additions include Lee ‘WhyNot’ Ju-hyeop, formerly of O2 Ardeont, taking up the mantle of Assistant Coach. WhyNot contributed to a number of O2’s deep runs in the Overwatch Contenders in South Korea. Lee ‘Jecse’ Seung-soo, signed by Seoul Dynasty as a main support, had represented Korean team Element Mystic since its inception in the summer of 2017. The final two players, Choi ‘Michelle’ Min-hyuk on flex and Hwang ‘Marve1’ Min-seo on main tank, both transferred from Chinese organisation Lucky Future Zenith.
Seoul Dynasty placed eighth in the overall standings after the regular season of the 2018 Overwatch League, barely not making it into the playoffs. With the 2019 edition of OWL right around the corner, whether the roster changes make a difference or not still remains to be seen.
