Andreas "schneider" Lindberg has replaced Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen in dignitas.

Andreas "schneider" Lindberg has replaced Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen in dignitas with immediate effect, the organization announced on their website.

For a couple of months now dignitas have been facing difficulties with providing sufficient results, considering that at a point they were considered one of the top ten teams in the world.

They failed to qualify for ESL One Cologne at the expense of FlipSid3, and lost to E-Frag.net and HellRaisers to finish top four at Acer Predator Masters Season 1 Finals.

After a series of mixed results, dignitas decided to cut ties with Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen, who has been criticized by both experts and the community for his stability issues as the main sniper of the team.

Surprisingly though, they didn't get another dedicated sniper, nor was it a Dane, as fnatic's and mousesports' former, Andreas "schneider" Lindberg, is the one to fill the gap.

The Swede has been standing in for numerous different teams in the past few weeks, namely Kinguin, KILLERFISH and PENTA, but he hasn't been a part of a starting lineup since parting ways with Property in June.

The newly added member had the following to say about joining the team and the communication issues they are facing:

"I am really excited to have gotten this opportunity to play with in my eyes four really strong players that have the potential to be amongst the absolute best. I haven't had a team in a while now and I will do my absolute best and a little bit more to make Team Dignitas reach new levels." Lindberg told team-dignitas.net

The hard part will be the communication, none can say for sure how long it will take until we have proper communication, as I feel like I understand 60-70% of their Danish, but it will only grow better with time and with that the team will only grow stronger and stronger."

dignitas now boast the following lineup:

Jacob "Pimp" Winneche
Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen
Philip "aizy" Aistrup
Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye
Andreas "schneider" Lindberg

The team will be looking to make their second attempt at qualifying for DreamHack Stockholm this upcoming weekend, as they were unable to go through the first following a 0-2 loss to k1ck in the round of 16.
