Saviors of Uldum, the new Hearthstone expansion goes live today ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Throughout the month, players have been watching the new cards pop up, but now the time has come — you can expect to see the new Reborn keyword, as well as many new and returning mechanics in Saviors of Uldum.

Minions with the new mechanic — Reborn — will return to life the first time they are destroyed, but only with one health left. Players will also see a new spell type — Plague. These spells are intended to wreak destruction and will be used by the classes associated with the League of EVIL. Plague spells randomly cause chaos and affect all the minions on the board. The new spells will fit into Priest, Shaman, Warrior, Warlock and Rogue class decks.

Anyone who has been following Hearthstone for a while will be familiar with the Quest-mechanic cards. Quests are legendary single-cost cards that start in your hand. After you play the card, its progress will be tracked on your Hero portrait. After the Quest is completed, you get a stunning new Hero Power.

Solo adventures won't be arriving to the Saviors of Uldum until September, but the expansion's new cards and mechanics will, hopefully, be more than enough to keep you busy.
