Panda Global CEO, Alan “SamuraiPanda” Bunney has announced that he will be making a shift in priority, from medicine to esports. The co-founder will work full-time as the CEO of his esports organization.

Coming from a background in medicine, SamuraiPanda has juggled his career as a doctor with esports. Yet, medicine was always at the forefront until now. He also plans to scale up the organization in 2020, but this doesn’t mean he will be giving up on medicine entirely. He still intends to work with his patients at his clinic when his duties as CEO allow.

American esports organization Panda Global was founded in 2015 by David “Masumaro” Wu and SamuraiPanda. The organization competes in a variety of games, like Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 11, and Tekken 7. These players consist of tournament winners and popular streamers that have helped them rapidly grow in the past few years.

SamuraiPanda has been a part of the esports industry for over a decade. The esports doctor has a history of competitive play across games like League of Legends and a variety of fighting games.
