After Gamera secured victory in Samurai Showdown at EVO Japan 2020, SNK took the opportunity to release a new gameplay video that introduces Iroha and shows off Mina Majikina alongside Sogetsu Kazama.
Mina was introduced during EVO 2019, but this marks her first gameplay trailer. She uses a bow as her weapon of choice but also has a monkey companion. We also see Sogetsu in the game for the first time after his leak. Unlike his brother Kazuki, Sogetsu uses waterbased attacks together with his katana.
Iroha is a crane that transforms into a maid to serve her master. Being a fan favorite and waifu, she wields two butterfly swords and has featured in a few other games outside Samurai Shodown.
Mina arrives in February while the release dates for Sogetsu and Iroha are currently unknown. One character remains to introduce in the Samurai Shodown Season 2 Pass, with SNK teasing an eventual reveal in the near future.
