SA Closed Qualifiers — Rio 2020 – All Teams

The South American teams for the Closed Qualifiers for ESL One Rio 2020 have been decided.

With the conclusions of the open qualifiers for South America, the closed qualifiers will be the next hurdle for two South American teams to have a chance to make an appearance at the ESL One Rio 2020 Major through the Americas Minor.

Here are the South American teams that will be competing in the ESL One Rio 2020 SA Closed Qualifiers:

The closed qualifiers for South America will take place on March 3-5, 2020. The closed qualifiers will sport a best-of-three, double-elimination bracket where the two teams that make it to grand finals will advance on to the Americas Minor for ESL One Rio 2020. Six North American teams will join them for a grand total of eight teams from the Americas in the Minor. Then, those eight teams will compete over two spots at ESL One Rio 2020. The Americas Minor for ESL One Rio 2020 is set to take place on April 26 - May 2, 2020, and will be the final step for teams from the Americas to make it to the Major.
