s1mple is the #1 CS:GO player of 2018

HLTV.org recognized Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev as the most notable player of 2018 due to his outstanding performance “by almost every metric”. The level of the results this player output throughout the year is higher than anyone has achieved before.

During 2018, the Ukrainian player had performed 0.87 kills every round in the official matches, and he has the third-lowest death-per-round ratio of 0.59. No one can match s1mple in terms of consistency, both round-to-round and map-to-map.

s1mple plays for Natus Vincere multi-grading, pushing his squad to multiple victories over 2018. The first significant result of the year was StarSeries & i-League Season 5 by defeating NRG 2-0 in the finals, where the player was announced MVP.
