Rumour: The Last of Us 2 coming in October 2019

A Southern America retailer named LawGamers had unexpectedly launched a pre-order advertising campaign for The Last of Us Part II. Judging by the banners attached, the game is scheduled to release in October 2019. It is worth noting that the ad was released immediately after the end of the closed Destination PlayStation event, which was arranged for retailer partners. At the presentation, Sony representatives talked about PS4 exclusives: The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding. At Destination PlayStation they usually talk about the next year's plans, holding an event at the beginning of the season so that retailers can think of interesting projects in advance. 

Well, the rumours about the sequel's release have been floating on the network for some time. The ex-editor of the IGN web-magazine, Alana Pierce, said that the adventures of an older Ellie would appear before the end of 2019 and claimed that a swift release is not a secret for veterans of the gaming industry. A similar hypothesis was put forward by the project's composer, Gustavo Santaolaglia, who is more than convinced of the imminent release of The Last of Us Part II.
