Following the efforts of a dataminer called fnbrInsider, it was discovered that Fortnite could be getting 15 new servers soon.
According to the datamine, these servers are situated around the globe and include one in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This would mean that players in the Middle East will have reduced latency thanks to their proximity to an Epic Games server.
Other countries included in the list are Canada, Finland, India, Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, and three more in the United States (specifically in Oregon, South Carolina, and Iowa).
If true, the new servers will not be easing the pains of players in Africa and parts of Central and South America. The IPs for these servers were also shared by fnbrInsider for players to test, but those living in countries near Bahrain like Jordan reported that they were still getting pings as high as 200.
However, there were also a few comments stating that some of the servers were not situated where fnbrInsider said they were and others claiming that they had seen these IPs mentioned elsewhere in the past. So like always, take this leak with a grain of salt and measured expectations.
Until an official statement is made by Epic Games or the sudden appearance of these servers, we won't know for sure how accurate this news is.
