Initially, Bioware and Electronic Arts announced that they have scheduled many major content updates and full-featured add-ons for Anthem to help to maintain interest in the project for 10 years. But only a few months after the release, these ambitious statements are already hard to believe. Audience's interest began to rapidly fade, and social networks are filled with rumours about the changing priorities in the studio.
In recent weeks, three key members of the Anthem development team have retired: executive producer Mark Darrah, lead producer Michael Gamble and lead director Jonathan Warner. Only the latter intends to return to the game after the end of the creative vacation. But check this out:
According to unconfirmed information, the main forces of the company are now focused on creating Dragon Age 4, which has been "frozen" several times and restarted from point zero. It seems that the next part of the series will deviate from purely singleplayer accents, offering users a game service with many years of support and multiplayer elements. It is unlikely that we will soon hear anything about her. You certainly should not expect a sequel to be presented at E3 2019 or EA Play in June of this year.
