Rumors: Mafia trademarks could signal a New Game and a Mafia II Remaster ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Take-Two Interactive has recently re-registered three Mafia-related trademarks. It means that we could have a remastered or even a new part of the game in the near future. The new trademarks were registered on August 2, 2019.

As a PC Gamer noted, trademarks only have to be renewed every 10 years. First parts were released in 2002 and 2011 respectively, so a new Mafia I remastered could be released this year.

Mafia II logo indicates a possible Remaster.

Also, the PlayStation Universe has tweeted that the rumors about a new part of Mafia can be real.

Perhaps, Take-Two wants to quit the franchise and now they are just working at some kind of project within the universe.  Although there are some good reasons to believe that at least something is happening with the Mafia franchise but it is better to keep cautious and optimistic for now.

We will provide you more with detailed information as soon as possible. Stay tuned!
