Rumors: Devil May Cry 5 PC release delayed

Users of some gamer forums have noticed that Steam is now showing a different release date for Devil May Cry 5 — May 7, 2019. That's a bit weird because Gamescom 2018 trailer had another information in it — March 8. 

Besides, DMC5 Steam page has no release date at all. 

We can understand several situations:

• May 7 is the date of Blood Palace mode release, not the game itself
• DMC5 comes later only at PC
• The game is delayed on all platforms

The third option looks too implausible: after all, such change would have received wider publicity. It remains to guess between the first two.
