Rocksteady Studios is skipping E3 2019 ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

There’s been plenty of rumours regarding the next game from Rocksteady Studios, and the keen interest of the community towards this mysterious title is easy to explain. The developers are responsible for one of the greatest video game adaptations of comic books – the Batman Akrham series.

It’s been quite some time since we last heard from Rocksteady, and unfortunately, the upcoming E3 2019 won’t change anything in regards to this “radio silence.” The studio has officially confirmed that it will not be present at the show. Like the rest of the world, the developers will follow the events of the expo from London where they are currently working on their next big project. This is not the first time during the past year for Rocksteady to debunk the rumours regarding the anticipated announcement. Studio’s co-founder Sefton Hill said pretty much the same a year ago, before the start of E3 2018, and in December 2018 in the wake of The Game Awards. Sadly, we don’t have any hints at what the studio’s next project could be.

A few rumours suggested that we might see a game about Superman, but Sefton Hill has already denied that. Some say that the studio might still return to Gotham despite the promise to leave the Dark Knight for good, but this information is unconfirmed. What we can say for sure is that Rocksteady is good at keeping secrets.
