Rocket League is now cross-platform! ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Rocket League had an update yesterday, but you don't need to download anything. It is a part of Sony's PlayStation Cross-Play programme. From now on, every PS4 player can play alongside gamers with Switch and Xbox One.

Rocket League have already been cross-platformed on PS4 and PC, but recent changes are really impressive. If earlier it was possible to gather squads only from players of one platform, now all three consoles and PC users can join the same match. If you play on a PC, you will see a Psynet tag — that's for the console players.

Matchmaking has always been good enough building parties quickly. But it will help to make tournaments with random players stabilized and fast-working. Maybe we'll have a Rocket League Mobile soon?

So it doesn't matter what's your platform — kick it and win it!
