Liu "Mlxg" Shi-Yu, the Royal Never Give UP (RNG) jungler formerly known as lonely, has retired from competitive League of Legends. The organisation made the announcement today on Weibo, but also stated that he would remain with the team as he plans for the future with them.

Mlxg was known for his aggressive jungler playstyle, earning him the nickname "Gank Machine." He joined RNG in 2015 and has been a strong presence ever since, but during LPL Spring 2019, he took a temporary break from the game due to health issues.

Some of his accolades include becoming LPL spring 2016 season Champion, Rift Rivals 2017 Red Rift Champion, Rift Rivals LCK-LPL-LMS 2018 Champion and Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games 2018 Champion.
