Fantasy LCS has been gone for some time now, but it looks like Riot Games will finally be bringing it back. The company plans to reveal more about the popular team building mode very soon.
LCS commissioner Chris Greeley had this to say. “We’re still pushing on the solution that we’ve been working on. We expect to be able to share these plans or an alternate solution to work with the community by August 31.”
Fantasy LCS is a game that allowed players to draft pro players in a bid to create the ultimate LEC and LCS team. These teams would then face off against each other to collect points based on assists, creep score and kills.
"Our goal remains to have something in place for spring 2020."
Riot Games cancelled the spring 2019 edition in order to create a new experience for its players. Unable to find the right development partner, Fantasy LCS missed a summer return. With all its efforts focused on a spring 2020 release, Riot Games could have some really good information to share that will hopefully make the long wait worth it.
