It looks like Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics, is preparing to unveil something intriguing. A few new trademarks filed by the company appeared on the website of the American patent bureau. The finding was discovered by one of the Reddit users named bddpsxj12 who's shared his insight on LoL's subreddit.

Here's the list of Riot's newly filed trademarks:

  • League of Legends: Supremacy
  • True Damage
  • Riot Forge
  • Tellstones

The descriptions of the trademarks indicate that they are related to a number of various and even unexpected topics - from software intellectual property to bath salt and shampoo.

League of Legends: Supremacy

League of Legends: Supremacy. It could be the rebirth of a once abandoned mobile CCG, which was rumoured to be developed by Riot Games years ago. Judging by the fact the Teamfight Tactics proved to be exceptionally popular, it's highly likely that the developers believe that their LoL IP is strong enough to produce another successful spin-off.

True Damage

True Damage. This trademark is reportedly a new musical product like K/DA and Pentakill. The application clearly indicates that it is indeed the case since its description is identical to the one related to K/DA. It could probably turn out being another music video by a virtual band in the wake of the world championship.

Riot Forge

Now, with Riot Forge, it's fairly hard to say anything specific since the descriptions of the trademark include various topics. There're particular ones like PAAS (Platform as a Service) and SAAS (Software as a Service), so that could be a new global launcher for Riot's products. Actually, that's a reasonable assumption since it was officially confirmed at Evo 2019 that a fighting game with League of Legends characters was in the works. Besides, Riot is also supporting the development of Hytale, a Minecraft-inspired project by Hypixel.

Judging by a different description, Riot Forge could be a new livestream platform or a new merchandise service.

Tellstones, probably, is somewhat related to the previously filed Riot Tabletop trademark. This could be either a board game or a module for a role-playing video game. The latter guess is less possible, although we shouldn't rule out anything.

Riot also had a trademark called Legends of Runeterra, which can be found on Amazon, for instance. It was expected to be a graphic novel, which might've turned as am art-book and a comic book in the world of League of Legends.

What we know for sure is that the upcoming autumn is going to be hot for League of Legends fans and enthusiasts. The world championship starts on October 2, and on October 21, the game turns 10 years old. It's safe to say that at least one of the aforementioned trademarks is related to the inevitable celebration.
