In a bid to improve the viewing experience of League of Legends events, Riot Games has announced a new subscription-based streaming service called League of Legends Pro View.

Our goal is to create a holistic viewing experience that's optimised for League of Legends esports while still allowing fans to watch on the streaming platform of their choice” - Riot Games press release

Pro View will launch with the 2019 Summer Split through watch.lolesports.com at the cost of €14.99 (£13) for regional access and €19.99 (£17.50) for full access. It will be available in both the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) and North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). Proceeds from the subscription service will be used to support both the LEC and LCS accordingly.

League of Legends Pro View boasts features such as a multiview of up to 4 synchronised streams, an advanced timeline where key match points are indicated on the timeline and the ability to share your own timeline with friends via a personalised URL. All features will be available during live games and VOD.
