Resident Evil 2 Remake added the $5 microtransaction you were dreaming about

While big publishers like EA and Activision burn through the remnants of their reputation with questionable monetization decisions (examples here and here), Capcom has been creating a good name for itself. In the most recent Resident Evil 2 Remake update, the developers added one $5 microtransaction to unlock everything you want.

The cheap microtransaction can be a lifesaver for players who don’t want to finish Hardcore S+ playthrough to get things like Samurai Edge handgun, ATM-4 rocket launcher & LE-5 submachine gun with infinite ammo each; two extra game scenarios; skins and concept art.

The “All In-game Rewards Unlock” is available on Steam, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a $5 price tag converted fairly to all regions.
