According to a report from DBLTAP, Astralis are seeking out another player for their active lineup as Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth is taking a leave from competing. The time he will be taking away from the game is uncertain at this moment.
Xpy9x is the second member of Astralis to go out on some type of leave from competing, in-game leader Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander being the first on May 19. Jakob "JUGi" Hansen joined Astralis earlier in May as their sixth member and played in DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 - Europe, and will play in the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown that starts on June 1.
Patrick "es3tag" Hansen will be the seventh member of Astralis, but he cannot join the team until July 1, when his contract with Heroic ends, leaving Astralis in need of another player.
With this change to Xpy9x, Astralis CS:GO is now made up of:
- Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
- Emil "Magisk" Reif
- Nicolai "device" Reedtz
- Jakob "JUGi" Hansen
- Danny "zonic" Sørensen (Coach)
